The biggest settlement announced by the revenue commissioners yesterday was with Donegal company O’Shea Fishing Company Ltd. of Fintra Rd, Killybegs, which agreed a settlement of just under 3.4 million euro for Underdeclaration of Corporation Tax and PAYE/PRSI, as well as a revenue Offshore Assets Investigation Case.
Beautician Shannagh Cassidy, of Admiran, Stranorlar, reached a settlement of just over €155,000 for underdeclaration of Income Tax, a Revenue Bogus Non Resident Account, Offshore Assets Investigation and Single Premium Insurance Product Investigation.
Ballindrait bookmaker Rodney Porter reached a settlement of just under €120,000 for underdeclaration of Income Tax, PAYE/PRSI and VAT. Revenue Audit Case.
In other Donegal cases, retired publican Seamus Bonner of Knock, Ballybofey reached a settlement of €90,000, haulier Gavin Mc Nulty of Shore Lane, St Johnston reached a settlement of just over €62,000 and businessman Brian Feda O’Donnell of Ranafast reached a settlement of just over €38,000.
