Soccer – Cork Snatch Draw With Derry City

Cork City 2 v 2 Derry City
Derry City failed to close out their first Premier league win at Turner’s Cross since 2000 as Cork City came back from two goals down to salvage a point on Friday evening.
Derry started brightly and were 2-0 up on 23 minutes with Strabane’s Rory Patterson scoring both goals for the candystrips.
Derry were  crusing up until Stewart Greacen was sent off for a second yellow. After that Cork got back into the game and scored two goals in the final nine minutes.
Vinny Sullivan and Shane Duggan scored in the 81st and 85th minute to maintain the home side’s unbeaten run but ten-man Derry will feel like they left the full three points behind them.
