Two arrested in connection with Derry assault

Two teenagers have been arrested in Derry in connection with an assault on a couple aged in their 60’s on Greenhaw Avenue on Wednesday last.
A 19 yr-old and a juvenile have been charged with GBH, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon. They were arrested last night, and are due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court this morning.
Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
