Three men – believed to be associated with the Jordanian Paralympic team – are due in court in Coleraine later today.
The men – aged in their twenties and thirties – were last night charged in connection with a number of alleged sex attacks in Antrim.
The alleged assaults took place at Antrim Forum which is managed by Antrim Borough Council. The Jordanian Paralympic team has been training there before travelling to London for the games next week.
Three men, aged 36, 35 and 23 are expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court today.
The 23-year-old-man has been charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of sexual assault against a woman.
The 35-year-old man has been charged with two counts of causing sexual activity with a child.
The 36-year-old man has been charged with one count of sexual assault against a woman.
The BBC is reporting meanwhile that the North’s Sports Minister Caral Ni Chuilin (Carol Nee Cooleen) has called an emergency meeting with Sport NI.
