Donegal North East Deputy Joe McHugh has confirmed that he is one of a dozen Fine Gael Deputies putting pressure on the Government to reverse the cut to the respite care grant.
A number of senior Government figures have insisted that none of the cuts in the budget will be reversed.
But Deputy McHugh said pressure must be maintained to make sure that existing services must be protected.
However he said he has no intentions of breaking ranks with the government and voting against the budget…
