Three die in Leitrim weekend fire

Three family members have died in a house fire in Co Leitrim over the weekend.
The bodies of a couple 75-year-old Desmond McDonald, and 77-year-old his wife Patsy, and their daughter 34-year-old Patricia, were removed from the scene at Lisnabrack.
It is understood that a taxi driver driving past the house saw the fire and called the emergency services at 2.20am on Saturday morning.
They found the family, who were well known in the area, in a search of the two-storey house.
Journalist Paddy Clancy said that the fire was a tragic accident….
