Government to introduce legislation to allow for abortion

Its understood the Government has decided to introduce new legislation  along with regulations to allow for abortion in certain cases.
The option was favored in the report of the expert group on abortion law which was considered at cabinet today.
A formal statement from the government is expected shortly.
