Donegal woman collects €1,000,000 euro lotto cheque

The lucky Donegal lady who won the €1,000,000 top prize in the Christmas Millionaire Raffle game will celebrate her 25th birthday next week, with €1,000,000 in the bank.
‘I just can’t believe it’, she smiled in National Lottery offices today as she sipped a glass of champagne with some family members. ’I checked my ticket number on my new iPhone 5 on New Year’s Day but it’s only sinking in now’, she finished.
‘I got my ticket as a Christmas present with a bottle of vodka. The vodka’s long gone but the result of this ticket will last me forever and has changed my life.I intend to continue working, and go on holiday to the US, but apart from that, I’m just going to chill out and think about things’, said the lucky young lady who did not wish to be named nationally.
Her lucky ticket was purchased in Sweeney’s Newsagency in Supervalu Shopping Centre, Caramore Road, Dungloe, Co. Donegal on Saturday 15 December 2012. A fluent Irish speaker, she also said ‘Buiochas le gach duine a ghui comhghairdeas orm’.
