Soccer – Coleman Scores For Everton In Cup

Killybeg’s Seamus Coleman was among the goals as Everton booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup last night.
After starting with a strong side, the Toffees claimed an impressive 5-1 victory over League Two side Cheltenham at Whaddon Road.
The Irish international capped his return to the starting side with Everton’s fourth goal – racing onto a cross from Victor Anichebe before lifting the ball over the Cheltenham keeper. The goal was Coleman’s first of the season.
Early goals from Nikica Jelavic and Leighton Baines put the visitors in charge at half-time. Leon Osman added a third for Everton at the start of the second-half, before Cheltenham’s Russell Penn pulled one back.
After Coleman scored Marouane Fellaini added a fifth goal just before the end to set-up a fourth round match against the winner of next week’s replay between Sunderland and Bolton.
