A Buncrana Town Cllr has said that a cut to Garda numbers would have a detrimental effect on Insihowen.
It was reported earlier this week that garda numbers are to be cut by over 1,400 this year and 100 garda stations will close or will close including 5 stations in Donegal. However, Justice Minister Alan Shatter is flatly denying the claim of 1,400 less gardai.
Cllr Nicloas Crossan said border areas need as many garda stations as possible…..
