20-year-old man to appear in court charged in connection with Kilmacrennan burglary

A 20 year old man is due to appear in Letterkenny District Court tomorrow, charged in connection with a burglary at the home of a pensioner in Kilmacrennan in the early hours of Friday morning.
Matthew Lafferty, with an address at Ballyheerin, Kilmacrennan, appeared at a special sitting of Sligo District Court yesterday evening.
He was charged with criminal damage and breaking and entering at an address in Kilmacrennan on January 18th.
Lafferty, who is originally from Letterkenny, was refused bail by judge Kevin Kilraine because of his bail history and seriousness of the charge.
Lafferty will appear again at Letterkenny District Court tomorrow.
