Traveller group calls on gardai to protect traveller families in Donegal

Traveller support group Pavee Point has issued a statement on the overnight house fire in Ballyshammom.
The group says – if the incident is arson – it’s disgusted and disappointed to learn of the development.
Pavee Point has called on the gardaí to protect traveller families in Donegal, after this, the third such incident in recent years.
They’ve also called on Donegal County Council to urgently identify a suitable alternative house for the traveller family.
Pavee Point has asked all politicians to be more responsible in public comment they give in relation to travellers.
