Fears that old Oatfield Factory site could become an eye-sore

There are fears that the Oatfield Site in Letterkenny could become an eye-sore once the building is demolished and the site sealed off.
A planning application is before the council to demolish the existing Oatfield Factory building and to erect temporary hoarding.
However concern has been expressed that the hoarding could become a long term fixture attracting graffiti and posters.
Councillor Jim Lynch says that must be prevented from happening:
