Inishowen’s County Councillors are being asked to explain a delay in funding for improvements to the Aghilly Road in Buncrana.
The Aghilly Road scheme will see the widening and realigning of the busy road which connects hundreds of home with the town. The project has been in the pipeline for over ten years and was eventually given the green light last year.
However, Buncrana Town Councillor Ciaran McLaughlin has expressed his frustration that Inishowen County Councillors have not secured funding for this year – he is demanding a meeting to get an explanation:
