Plan launched to help make public buildings more energy efficient

A new 70 million euro plan has been launched to help make public buildings more energy efficient.
It’s the second National energy efficiency action plan and will target schools, hospitals and other buildings by 2020.
Over 600 construction jobs will be created as a result of the plan to make the buildings greener.
The Energy Minister Pat Rabbitte launched the plan at the Rotunda Hospital where they’ve spent a million euro making the hospital more energy efficient.
