Gardai investigate Dublin pub shooting

Gardaí will continue to interview witnesses today to a fatal shooting in a Dublin pub, in which a man was killed.
The victim, who was in his 20s, was known to Gardai – and was gunned down in the Cabra House pub on Fassaugh Avenue yesterday evening.
Shortly after 7 o’clock yesterday evening, a masked gunman entered the Cabra House pub and opened fire on a man in his 20s – shooting him a NUMBER OF TIME.
The victim was known to Gardai – and  its understood he had previous convictions for drugs and assault offences.
The gunman fled the scene on a motorbike – along with another man – in the direction of Dublin city centre.
The scene remains sealed off this morning – and a post mortem examination will be carried out later today.
Gardai are interviewing witnesses to the attack – and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
