Gardaí are investigating a report of a serious assault in Carndonagh in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident was reported shortly after 3.30am.
While the nature of the incident has not been disclosed, garda cordons were put in place in the area yesterday.
Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing and no further information is currently available.
