Five Donegal names on latest tax defaulters list

There are five Donegal names on the latest list of tax defaulters.
The list covers the last three months of 2012 and gives details of settlements made by 135 taxpayers, totaling almost 28-million euro.
The biggest settlement in Donegal was made by Letterkenny landlord Frank Coyle of 53 Carolina Park who paid just over 363,000 euro in respect of undeclaration of income tax and a single premium insurance product.
M&P Developments Ltd of Ballymagan, Buncrana, currently in liquidation paid almost 307,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Corporation Tax and PAYE/PRSI, while Johnstons Caravans of Dromore, Letterkenny paid almost 164,000 euro in respect of underdeclaration of VAT.
There were two other smaller settlements of 37,000 and 40,000 euro.
