Two men were arrested in Derry yesterday as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
The arrests followed a number of house searches in the Creggan area of the city yesterday morning.
A PSNI spokesperson said the arrests were made in connection with an investigation into a commemoration in the City Cemetery on Easter Monday last year at which a masked member of the Real IRA read out a statement threatening police officers.
A Police spokesperson said police carried out a number of searches in the city yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into terrorism offences at the Easter commemoration at the City Cemetery on April 9th, 2012.
