It’s been confirmed that a second neurologist will be appointed in the Northwest.
A neurologist was to have been appointed by the HSE in Sligo last year, but it proved difficult to fill the post until now.
The appointment will come as a welcome relief to the hundreds of people in the region who have been waiting over a year to see a neurologist.
