Customs in Louth seize diesel laundering units

Customs have seized 2 mobile diesel laundering units in early morning raids in the Ravensdale area of Co Louth.
One was concealed in a slurry tanker, the other in a curtain sided truck.
Together they were capable of laundering 15 million litres of diesel a year which would result in a loss to the exchequer of around
8 million euro in taxes and excise duties.
10 vehicles were seized in the searches at 2 locations.
