The Dublin county board have confirmed they will appeal the 3 match ban handed down to one of their players by the Central Competition Control Committee following the accusation of biting Donegal forward Paddy Mc Brearty.
They say they will bring the case to the Hearings committee, If that’s unsuccessful they can go to the Central appeals committee and after that the Disputes resolution Authority.
The investigation was launched by the CCCC in Croke Park after the Donegal medical team made the complaint to referee Padraig Hughes and his replacement, Michael Duffy, after the recent clash between the counties in MacCumhaill Park on Sunday, 7th April.
McBrearty was treated during the game and later that evening in Letterkenny General Hospital.
