Health Minister James Reilly is being asked to give assurances about the future of Carndonagh District Hospital.
Donegal North East Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn has tabled a number of questions to the minister seeking to clarify the up to date position about the number of people working at the hospital, after the HSE cited ‘staffing pressures’ as the reason for the temporary closure of four beds this week.
Deputy Mac Lochlainn says a number of other questions submitted in the last 18 months show that the hospital has already been enduring cuts…..
