A suspicious device found outside Lettekenny Garda station this morning has been described as an elaborate hoax.
Army Bomb were called to the scene this afternoon to deal with the object which was made to look like a viable explosive device.
Letterkenny Garda Station was closed for a time but has since re-opened. The New Line Road has also re-opened.
