Not enough is being done to assist people living in council houses in Donegal to purchase the properties out right.
That is according to Councillor Ciaran Brogan who wants the local authority to review its housing loan policy to make it easier for people to buy their own homes.
The council currently has a considerably high level of mortgage arears and has conceded that very few new home loans are being sanctioned.
