Donegal County Council’s marathon budget discussion in December and January have been described as a farce after it emerged that an adjustment of up to 3.3 million euro is being sought by council management.
The County Manager is seeking to make the cuts to address a significant disimprovement in the council’s revenue deficit which is increasing and could increase by 6 million euro this year alone.
