Senator Jimmy Harte has assured the Management and staff of the Hospital that the required funding to bring the services back to normal is in place
Senator Harte says following a meeting with Hospital manager Sean Murphy, and senior HSE officials yesterday, he was in contact with Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore and Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin.
Senator Harte says Mr Murphy told him that the hospital has lost 40 % of it’s capacity, which he says is an unprecedented loss for any hospital in the country.
He says while insurance officials are already at the hospital, he’s been assured by Minister Howlin that funding will be in place to help restore services as quickly as possible………..
