Three Donegal players have been included in the provisional squad for the upcoming International Rules series.
Michael Murphy, who was announced as captain last week, has been joined by Gweedore’s Neil Mc Gee and Kilcar’s Paddy Mc Brearty.
Tyrone’s Sean Cavanagh and Niall Morgan are also part of the panel.
15 counties are represented on the 29 man provisional panel while Laois man Zach Touhy is the only current AFL player included.
Aidan Walsh has been confirmed as vice captain for the series against Australia .
The Cork star may end up leading out Paul Earleys side in the first test on Saturday week in Cavan if the Donegal county board don’t reschedule their county final as Michael Murphy is due to play for Glenswilly against Killybegs the day after the first test.
Last night Glenswilly handed in a request to play the big decider on Friday 25th October, two nights before the 2nd test at Croke Park.
The Donegal Competitions Control Committee will now discuss and meet with Killybegs on the matter.
