Former Highland Radio presenter Packie Bradley dies

One of highland radio’s founding voices, Packie Bradley has died.

Packie became a household name across the Northwest earning thousands of loyal listeners through his mid afternoon show.

Highland Radio’s Managing Director Shaun Doherty has described Packie as one of the kindest and most sincere people ever to sit in front of a microphone.

Mr Doherty said ‘He was as warm and friendly off air as well as on. What you heard on the radio was the same lovely man you met afterwards, always with a smile and a kind word.  We will all miss him at Highland Radio.’

He added  ‘on behalf of everyone at Highland Radio, we offer our deepest sympathy to his sister Mary and brothers Liam and Denis and the family circle,may he rest in peace.’
