Cora Harvey reveals reasons she chose to quit the council and leave politics

cora  Sinn Fein County Councillor Cora Harvey has confirmed she will not be seeking nomination to run in next years Local Elections.
The Stranoral Electoral Area representative will also step down as an elected representative on Donegal County Council in the coming weeks.
The former Mayor has described it is a personal decision based on the demands of family life, work commitments and the inability to give 100% over the next 5 years to the electorate.
And in an extended interview with Highland Radio News, Councillor Harvey says that while her time has been mostly positive she also experienced a frustration with how the system works:
