The first sod has been turned in Buncrana on “Amazing Grace Park”, a project to transform a piece of waste ground next to the Tourist Office on Railway Road into a new public space.
This park is the second step in developing an “Amazing Grace experience” that will attract visitors to the area, and comes just two weeks after the opening of a viewing point over the Swilly. It’s hoped the park will be completed within six months.
