The Government’s Tellus Border Project has announced results of its comprehensive geological survey of the Border area which found gold in Donegal.
Gold was found in Glencolumbkille, several areas of the Inishowen peninsula and in Termon.
Minister For Natural Resources Mr Fergus O’Dowd says the gold map will add to economic investments already being made in the Border area.
