Donegal County Council is being asked to improve safety for pedestrians at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny.
Councillor Mick Quinn is to bring a motion to the council on Monday calling for the council to priorities a footpath from Ballymacool to the Aura in the 2014 Programme.
He also supports calls for a safer pedestrian crossing in the area.
