Donegal County Council is to discuss the takeover of water services by the new company Irish Water at its November monthly meeting on Monday next.
A presentation is to be made to members on the handover protocol, but councillors are concerned that this is only coming now, less than two months before the new regieme comes into effect.
Cllr Ciaran Brogan saysd he’s even more concerned since it emerged last week that Bord Gais, Irish Water’s parent company, is to be sold off.
Cllr Brogan has moved a motion calling for a full discussion on Monday, and says he’ll be demanding answers……..
