Hundreds of mourners have gathered at the funeral mass in Belfast for Fr. Alec Reid.
The 82 year old from Co. Tipperary – who past away last week – has been described as one of the most influential figures of the peace process.
Speaking at the service at Clonard Church in Belfast this afternoon, Father Kevin Kelleher remembered just one remarkable moment in the priest’s life – during the state dinner with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth:
