Council urges public to have its say on new strategic County Donegal Heritage Plan

Donegal CastleDonegal County Council is inviting submissions for the preparation of the new strategic County Donegal Heritage Plan.
The council says the focus of submissions should be on actions that can be taken over the next five years to interpret, conserve, manage, enhance or promote County Donegal’s heritage.
People have until December 18th to outline what they or their organisation is willing to do to implement the strategic actions.
The first of a series of public consultation meetings takes place tonight as outlined below:
Tuesday, December 3:  St. Mary’s Parish Centre, Main Street, Stranorlar: 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 4:  Donegal Education Centre, Pier 1, Quay Street, Donegal Town: 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, December 10:  Public Services Centre, Malin Road, Carndonagh: 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 11:  Donegal County Museum, High Road, Letterkenny: 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, December 17:  Ionad Teampaill Chróine, Chapel Road, Dungloe: 7:00 p.m.
