It’s been claimed that 40 rural primary schools could close in Tyrone if a proposal to introduce a minimum pupil number goes ahead.
The North’s Education Minister is being urged to rethink plans to implement a 105 pupil requirement, with a West Tyrone MLA saying it would threaten the future of many rural communities in Tyrone and further a field.
