Finn Harps and Cockhill Celtic started their pre-season campaigns on Saturday with the Donegal sides clashing in Buncrana.
The Ulster Senior League Champions Cockhill won the game 2-1.
The result was irrelevant as both managers were looking to get their plans for the season ahead up and running.
Cockhill will start their season in February while Harps Airtricity League schedule begins in early March.
