Two years on from his murder in Buncrana, Andrew Allen’s mother appeals for information on killers

Andrew Allen
The mother of a Derry man shot dead in Buncrana two years ago has made a fresh appeal for information to catch his killers.
Andrew Allen was shot dead at his home near Buncrana on the 9th of February 2012.
Republican Action Against Drugs said it carried out the murder.
His family have denied RAAD’s claim that he was a drug dealer.
Andrew’s mother Donna Smith last year claimed her son was killed not because he was involved in drugs, but for more personal reasons.
Ms Smith said the family believes that the shooting of Andrew in Lisfannon was carried out on the orders of a paramilitary figure who had a grudge of some description.
Meanwhile, Gardai believe they have identified those involved in the crime and say that while a few carried out the murder others sourced the guns and getaway vehicle.
