Strabane District Council has agreed to increase its district rate for the coming year by 2.5%.
This means that local ratepayers will see an average increase in their domestic rates bill of £18 in the coming financial year.
It’s the second year in a row there has been a rates increase in the town, last year they went up 3.76%.
