Harps and Derry awarded licence

Following a meeting of the Independent Club Licensing Committee of the Football Association of Ireland, 14 Premier Division licences, four First Division licences and two conditional First Division licences have awarded for the coming Airtricity League season.
Derry City and Finn Harps have both been awarded a licence to play in their respective divisions.
Cobh Ramblers FC and Wexford Youths FC were awarded a conditional First Division Licence pending the satisfactory receipt of further information.
Meanwhile due to the weather, the pre season game between Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers this Saturday has been moved from FinnPark to the Lakeside astro-turf pitch in Ballyshannon. Kick off is 4pm
