Met Eireann is warning that temperatures are due to dip below freezing tonight as many people still remain without power.
Around the country, 60-thousand homes still have no electricity, while some will be forced to endure another night of the cold and darkness as ESB networks warns many faults won’t be repaired this weekend.
In Donegal, 150 customers are still without power in Letterkenny and Killybegs. A spokesperson for the ESB has stated that all crews are working on the issues and hope to have power restored to those affected as soon as possible.
Meanwhile the ESB has announced that planned upgrades for next Tuesday (February18th) in the Downings /Rosguill Peninsula area have been cancelled due to the recent storms.
