Rifle seized and man arrested following search of Ballyshannon house

Gardai have arrested a man and seized a firearm during a raid on a house in Ballyshannon.
During the search, as part of an ongoing investigation Gardai search, a rifle was recovered.
A male aged in his 40s was arrested at the scene.
He is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Ballyshannon Garda Station.
He can be held for up to 72 hours.
