15 year-old Derry youth due in court on attempted rape charges

A 15-year-old youth has been charged with a number of offences including attempted rape and common assault and is to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning.
His arrest followed reports that a 13-year-old girl had allegedly been attacked.
The assault is believed to have happened in the Rathkeele Way area in Creggan yesterday morning.
