Hundreds of families are to receive incorrect letters saying their are in arrears of up to €200 for the household charge.
Revenue have admitted that people will wrongly recieve letters over the coming days telling them to pay the charge.
Revenue has said there was a mismatch between the data of the Local Government Management Agency and the Local Property Tax database.
Local election candidate Donal Cullen has also said that residents in ghost estates, who are exempt from the charge, have also received letters….
