Tyrone’s Sean Cavanagh says that the prospect of picking-up a black card wouldn’t stop him from pulling-down an opponent if necessary.
Cavanagh’s ‘rugby tackle’ on Monaghan’s Conor McManus last year was one of the incidents that forced the GAA to implement new disciplinary measures to try and stamp-out cynical fouling from the game.
But as Tyrone prepare to face Monaghan this Sunday in Clones, Cavanagh says that the black card won’t prove to be enough of a deterrent to players when they’re facing a similiar situation this year…
