2 time major winner Rory Mc Ilroy has announced that he will play for Ireland at the Olympics in Rio 2016.
The 25 year old former wolrd number one made the announcemnnt at a pre tournament press conference at Fota Island resort Cork ahead of the Irish Open which tee’s off tomorrow.
Mc Ilroy explains the decision.
