A Donegal Senator has accused the Government letting down rural Ireland.
Brian Ó Domhanill says the Government should have implemented recommendations made by the Commission for the Economic Development of Rural Areas.
The commission, chaired by former footballer and GAA pundit Pat Spillane, made a number of recommendations about services and facilities in rural communities, and how they can be protected.
