A car which was the subject of an appeal on Highland Radio has been intercepted by gardai in Castlefin.
A caller to the Shaun Doherty Show told how a number of men had approached his house – they were said to be driving a silver Northern Registered Mercedes.
They made off in the vehicle when challenged by the man.
A number of hours later a car matching that description was stopped by Gardai near Castlefin.
Although not confirmed, we understand at least two men have been arrested.
