Finn Harps lost more ground on the promotion pack as they were held to a draw by basement club Cobh Ramblers at Finn Park on Friday night.
This result leaves Harps in fifth place and they are now six points adrift of Galway FC, who occupy third spot – the lowest play-off position.
Having scored seven goals against Cobh in two previous meetings this season, and were fancied to notch up another win.
But in the end they had to settle for a point in a poor game that really only came to life in the second half
